The gently angled cap finial, mirror polished metal accents and matching Consul emblems on both the cap and barrel create a harmonious composition that feels substantial, sophisticated and effortlessly timeless.
The Guardian Nightfall edition showcases a proprietary decorative technique developed by the Consul team.
A sculpted moon is first formed directly on the surface of the writing instrument, individually hand painted and then sealed beneath a crystal clear protective top coating. Inspired in part by the traditional art of guilloché yet entirely reinterpreted, this layered construction preserves the sculpted relief beneath the transparent surface.
Rather than appearing as a flat decoration, the moon possesses genuine three dimensional form. As light and viewing angles change, the transparent coating enhances the perception of its depth, giving it the appearance of a finely crafted inlay and an extraordinary sense of realism.
This purple and blue fountain pen has a gold-plated #6 JoWo stainless steel nib, gold accents, a gold clip, and pushes to post. Each pen comes with a Schmidt K6 converter and one ink cartridge.
